HOW TO AVOID MISTAKES IN ENGLISH – ‘did not saw’ or ‘see’? 🤔

In English mistakes are often made by using the past tense after did instead of the infinitive without ‘to‘. This is one example.

When making a negative sentence about the past you use the auxiliary did at the beginning of the sentence which already indicates past tense. So we use V1, not the past tense, after did not.

She did not visit her mum last month.
